Anna Cirlot — Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dauphin Island, Fort Morgan, and Gulf Shores photographer
Anna. The same person you’ll meet.

I started this to share our farm.

Six years ago I thought it would be a fun way to share this place with the world.

Then I merged into photographing weddings, small and large, simple and grand.

Then Covid came and I fell in love with photographing clients barefoot on the beach.

Now, I’ve found myself enamored with capturing people in the middle of their lives, wherever that may be. Photography is an art of love and seeing and helping you see clearly how beautiful and wonderful your life really is.

I live on a farm in Gautier with my high school sweetheart and our four kids. I love Jesus. I like being outside. My working theory of a session, and of most of life, is that it’s probably fine. I photograph at the beach, on our farm, along the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast, or a place that’s already special to you.

Why the pictures look this way

The best photographs are the real ones.

A kid running ahead. Someone laughing with their eyes closed. The way you look at each other when you forget the camera is even there.

I don’t chase what’s trending. I photograph people in the middle of their lives, the beautiful parts and the slightly chaotic parts, and I want you to still want these on the wall years from now.

What I believe

Ordinary days are worth keeping. You don’t have to wait for everyone to be perfectly dressed and perfectly behaved.

The best photographs don’t pull you away from your people. We play, we walk, and the pictures follow.

Pictures should live on walls, not only phones. Beauty helps us heal from hard things. Good stories deserve to be told.

You shouldn’t have to become a photography expert to get photographs you love. That’s the part I can carry.

You’ll work with me, not an agency.

If you write, it comes to me.

I love long-term relationships with clients. The same person who writes you back is the one who shows up with the camera.

The people I love working with

They don’t come for pretty pictures. They come because they want to treasure a season and remember how much love was in it. Families who will let the kids be kids. Couples who are a little awkward at first and then forget I’m there. People who want to come back when the next season shows up.

Helping you keep it is what I love.

What I really want you to know

The goal isn’t a folder of files. It’s photographs you’ll still want in twenty years, the ones that stay in the house. I want the hour to feel less rushed and more like yourselves, and afterward I want you glad you asked someone to keep it.

Working with professional photographer Anna Cirlot for beach photos was a great experience. From our first conversation to our follow-up her responses were answered promptly. Her attention to detail from what colors photograph well on the beach to recommendations for hair and makeup. Anna is a remarkable woman of faith and it is apparent in every aspect of her work. Her honesty and integrity are beyond reproach. The knowledge she brings to her work is truly amazing and will make you comfortable from first message to finished photos. Turn around is also fast and efficient. I don’t think we could have had a better experience. Two junior high friends who have known each other for most of our 65 years were very pleased and the response to the photos from everyone has been remarkable. Call or message Anna. You will count it all joy!
