Senior portraits

This year is a threshold, and it can feel like a lot of pressure to get the photographs “right.” I want them to look like themselves — proud if they want to be, a little shy if that’s more them, cap and gown or the beach or both. This should feel like a kindness, not a performance.

They don’t have to know how to pose. We laugh, we walk, and I help them settle into being seen. You get to watch them become this next version of themselves, and I’ll keep it for you.

I photograph seniors on the Mississippi and Alabama Gulf Coast, and farther when the story leads there. Wherever we are, the hope is the same: that they’ll still want these when the year is over.

They only get this year once, and I’d love to help you keep it.
